Job Description Job Description Benefits: Mission driven organization Bonus based on performance Training & development For you: $18.00 to $23.50 - DOE Mon-Fri work from June 22- Aug 28 Outside with kids all summer Consistent schedule all summer Learn and Teach Bushcraft and Survival Skills to kids age 6 to 14 Join a team from multiple states and connect with a larger summer camp and bushcraft community Increase your experience in outdoors work. Increase your experience with outdoor experiential education. Requirements: Ability to work effectively and dynamically with young people aged 6 - 14 Outdoor skills with bushcraft, survival, outdoor recreation, etc (background preferred but need not be expert). Deliver outdoor skill content curriculum confidently and effectively Ability to work independently and communicate as a team member Maintain and administer an organized camp & follow curriculum Willing and able to drive to work sites that may be at various locations PT must set their schedule by April/May and maintain availability all agreed upon weeks FT must be able to commit to full summer work from early June through end of August All instructors are background checked. The Daily Work: 40 hour work weeks (day camp only), occasional filling in for partial weeks Lead and teach groups of kids outdoor and survival skills including: shelter, knots, knives, fire, navigation, foraging, cordage, fishing, hunting, archery etc. A full day of making a difference for others and being engaging. Work autonomously and interact with parents and public at site locations. Manage safety, curriculum, and behavior during programming with groups of 6-9 years old or 9-14 years old. A typical week is working from 8:30-4:30 in a municipal or county park setting, M-F.
