Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available for
the 2023-2024 school year, serving students in grades K-12. This
contract role is located in Spokane, WA, and includes
self-contained, resource, and special day classroom openings.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Collaborate with
general education teachers, support staff, and families to support
student learning and social development Monitor and document
student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes
student growth across academic and behavioral areas Qualifications:
Active State Teaching License with appropriate special education
endorsement Experience working with students across grades K-12
preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills to work
effectively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage diverse
learner needs in self-contained and resource settings Schedule and
Compensation: Start date: As soon as possible End date: End of
school year Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Pay
