Pinehurst, NC Department Business Office Schedule Full Time - 40 Hours per Week Shift Day Shift Hours 8:30a-5:00p The Administrative Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for providing strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all revenue cycle tasks for the Health System, including Patient Accounts (Professional and Hospital), Patient Access, and Pre-Services (Scheduling, Pre-registration, Patient Estimates). They also work closely with Finance, HIM, Reimbursement and Administration regarding patient satisfaction and key performance metrics. Job Relationships Reports to the VP, Finance
Monitors and reports on indicators which affect cash flow, reimbursement and collections. Is responsible for the oversight of Key Revenue Cycle Indicators - examples include, but are not limited to hospital and professional A/R Days, Denials, Upfront Collections, Registration Accuracy, Employee Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction, etc. Skilled in customer service issues regarding insurance coverage, patient billing, privacy and risk. Maintains extensive knowledge of payor authorization and billing requirements. Knowledgeable regarding differences in facility and professional charging/billing methodologies. Collaborates with Information Technology and assists with continual improvement of workflow and functionality of FirstHealth's EHR. Evaluates flow, quality, and quantity of work in the various sections of the Revenue Cycle. Assist VP, Finance & CFO with all projects within related scope of responsibility.--Ten years in healthcare reimbursement leadership with intimate knowledge hospital billing, professional billing and registration required.-- Intimate knowledge of Epic required. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
