The position: Reporting to the head of sales, the Vice President of Sales for Solutions will manage and continue to grow a team of enterprise sales professionals that are primarily focused on customers looking for data & identity solutions. The ability to determine a smart go-to-market strategy and create a highly capable and motivated team will be critical to success. The VP of Sales will be expected to manage a widely dispersed team of remote employees while maintaining the culture and values of Pipl. The right candidate will have experience in selling large, complex software or integrated data solutions in addition to a successful track record of exceeding revenue goals, building trusted relationships with clients, and inspiring their team to be the best. This is a hands-on, highly visible, 'lead from the front' sales leadership role with a travel expectation of at least 30%. You will be key to the growth of the company and in shaping its go-to-market strategy for our API that integrates into other products and solutions. Requirements What you'll do:

  • Daily management of the solutions sales team;
  • Assesses sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to determine sales progress & areas for refinement/improvement;
  • Keep the team highly motivated, meeting and exceeding revenue goals;
  • Coach team members through the development of key sales skills, including vertical market management, forecasting & sales planning, prospecting/pipelining within account base, complex deal negotiations, cross-functional support both internally and externally, as well as CRM/reporting accuracy;
  • Develops strategies to further penetrate accounts and reinforce processes designed to deliver value to our customers. You are:
    • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in software or data;
    • 5+ years of managing sales teams including remote employees;
    • Experience selling solutions (other than products);
    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant combination of training and experience;
    • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets;
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills;
    • Domain expertise and relationships in one of our key verticals/use-cases;
    • Experience in selling to both technical and commercial business stakeholders;
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;--
    • Strong business acumen & solid negotiation skills;--
    • Ability to travel frequently (at least 30%)
    • A motivational leader who lead by example and inspire their team & their customers;
    • Operate well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision.
    • Deep knowledge of the various identity resolution & data enrichment use-cases;
    • Highly organized self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative;
    • A leader who can drive hard but knows when to stop and smell the roses.
