Job Description:

sign on bonus. **Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) has had a
presence in Spokane for more than 100 years, allowing our
non-profit organization to understand the varied needs of our
clients and the larger community.Program for Assertive Community
Treatment Team (PACT) is an intensive, community-based
multidisciplinary treatment team that provides person-centered care
to a shared caseload of adults whose needs are not able to be met
through traditional outpatient services. The team provides case
management, individual and group therapy, initial and ongoing
assessments; employment and housing assistance, family support and
education, substance use services, and other services and support
critical to an individuals ability to live successfully in the
community._*The PACT Team participates in rotating weekend and
holiday shifts to provide coverage for our clients during
non-business days. If a weekend day or holiday shift is worked by a
PACT employee, the PACT employee will be able to take a different
day off that same week. *_Mental Health Clinician services include
but are not limited to engagement, supportive listening,
psychoeducation, skill building, crisis assessment, prevention and
intervention, resource education, develop and implement treatment
plans, coordinate, and assist client with obtaining services while
measuring client progress toward established goals and objectives.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician assists with training of new
employees, provides guidance to team members, and other
administrative duties as assigned by PACT leadership.*ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*1. Meet minimum direct service percent
time as defined by management.2. Develop individual treatment plans
based on the clients strength, needs, hopes, and desires. Plans are
modified as needed through an ongoing assessment and goal setting
process.3. Provide pro-active assistance to clients to participate
in and continue treatment, live independently, and recover from
their disability.4. Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement
safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilization
services as needed, including facilitating access to inpatient
facilities for behavioral health care.5. 80% of direct services
must be provided within community settings such a persons own home,
neighborhood, local restaurants, parks, or nearby stores.6.
Coordinate care management of consumers substance and mental health
needs including monitoring of individual plans of care and
achievement of plan of care goals.7. Work with PACT team members to
collaboratively provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support
services required by each consumer to live in the community.8. When
required by the outpatient program, MHC IIs who hold a credential
(i.e., L-AAC, LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSWA) eligible to be a Mental Health
Professionals will provide initial intake assessments for persons
seeking services at FBH to determine individual meets medical
necessity and eligibility for FBH outpatient services.* Involves
comprehensive assessments, preliminary diagnoses, and treatment
recommendations for both youth and adults.* Involves completing
Consent to Release Confidential Information with the client and
guardians, when appropriate, for any current and past behavioral
health treatment, involved allied service provider, and natural
supports.* Intakes should be completed concurrently with the
client.* Accurately determine the program assignment for
individuals who are enrolled.9. Participate in daily organization,
multidisciplinary staff meetings to discuss consumer care with the
consumer.10. Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts as
needed.11. Include clients natural support systems in treatment,
educating them and including them as part of the PACT services.12.
Help clients become less socially isolated and more integrated into
the community by encouraging participation in community activities
and membership in the organization of their choice.13. Assist in
development and delivery of staff and/or consumer education in the
form of group classes or training.14. Demonstrate teamwork and
goal-oriented productivity.15. Coordinate with external evaluator
as appropriate.16. Complete clinical paperwork (progress notes,
reports, and clinical reviews) in a timely, accurate and legible
manner within the format defined by the agency.17. Participate in
supervision, staff meetings and educational and administrative
meetings as directed.18. Represent the agency in a positive and
professional manner.19. Maintain and enhance customer service to
ensure that both external and internal customers of FBH have a
positive experience.20. Participate in the chart reviews and
screenings for individuals referred to PACT services, assist in
determining appropriateness of PACT services, and engage in
discharge planning from inpatient settings and transitioning onto
the PACT Team.21. Provide consultation, support, and education to
team members on client care needs, voluntary crisis interventions,
safety planning, case conceptualizations, documentation, and other
work-related tasks.22. In supervisors absence the senior clinician
will: lead the morning staffing, ensure schedules are updated and
assigned, confirm follow-up plans are in place for clients
experiencing crisis or urgent needs.23. Assist teammates in
completing Critical Incident Reports.24. May be assigned to
supervise interns.25. Other duties as assigned._*QUALIFIED
CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:*_*REQUIRED:** Masters degree in social work,
psychology, counseling or related field from accredited college or
university.* One year of experience working with psychiatrically
impaired populations.* Must apply for Agency Affiliation within 30
days of hire.*PREFERRED*:* Two years of experience providing
clinical behavioral health services.*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ABILITIES:** Knowledge of service delivery models including groups,
skills training, evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, and
community-based interventions for individuals with mental health
and/or substance use disorders.* Ability to communicate and engage
effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, trauma
experiences, cultures, education level and socio-economic status.*
Ability to gain knowledge of WACs, RCWs, and Tool for Measurement
of ACT (TMACT) fidelity evaluation tool.* Strong engagement and
customer service skills, empathy, ability to remain calm,
professional, and clear headed during escalated situations.*
Demonstrate evidence of critical thinking, decision-making ability,
and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work autonomously and as a
member of a team.* Must have reliable transportation, insurance and
an active drivers license and be willing to use personal vehicle in

traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various
terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is

predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.** The following
terms and conditions apply to new $2,000 Sign On Bonus:** Internal
transfers into PACT are not eligible for the sign-on bonus, except
for PRN employees who accept a full-time PACT position.* If you
receive the $2,000 sign on bonus, you will not be eligible for an
*internal transfer* out of PACT for one-year, absent extenuating
circumstances and approval by the Chief Human Resources Officer.*
