Job Description:
Provides supervised patient care by performing basic duties such
as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens,
and assisting with examinations and procedures. Supports clinic
operations by answering phones, scheduling tests, documenting
patient information, and assisting with medication refills.
Administers medications and immunizations as ordered, and maintains
a clean and stocked exam environment.
Performs routine clerical tasks like chart retrieval and filing,
and participates in meetings and training.
Works under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses,
adhering to established standards and competency requirements.
Qualifications include an LVN license (state or compact), BLS
certification, and the ability to perform lab procedures and assist
with patient flow.
