Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a comparable specialty/setting License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: - Ability to float between units - Availability to work weekends every other week - Flexibility to adhere to contracted schedule Description: This position requires experience in Medical Surgical nursing. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. The expected patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6-8. Weekends are required every other week. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Modules will be completed prior to the start. Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded. References are required from supervisory roles within the last three years. Failure to adhere to requests for time off may lead to contract termination.
