Job Description:
RN Hospice at Providence Health and Services summary: The RN
Hospice Nurse Clinician provides comprehensive care and support to
terminally ill patients and their families by assessing, planning,
and coordinating individualized plans of care. They collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to anticipate patient needs, ensure
continuity of care, and enhance quality of life during end-of-life
stages. The role requires a nursing degree, relevant licensure, and
experience in hospice or related healthcare settings. Description
The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill
pediatric or adult patients and their families by assessing the
needs of the patient, and then planning, coordinating,
implementing, and as needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN
Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary
hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the
patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family
choice, ensuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of
life of dying patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and
caseload may vary according to position assignment. Providence

Qualifications: Associate's Degree Or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Washington Registered
Nurse License Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart
Association (Facility Managed) Preferred Qualification: 1 year of
Nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience required for
a position in the Pediatric Programs. Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long
Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience. Why Join

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
