Practitioner provides respiratory therapy support across pediatric
units including NICU and PICU at Providence Sacred Heart Medical
Center in Spokane, WA. This role involves collaboration with
physicians and nurses to deliver comprehensive respiratory care,
operate ventilatory support systems, and perform patient
assessments. The position requires licensure, specialized training,

on your first day of employment. Respiratory Care Practitioner -
Respiratory Therapy Department, Sacred Heart Medical Center,
Spokane, WA This position will support the Children Hospital Float
Group (NICU, PICU and Core) Shift Details: Full-time, Variable
shift, 36 hours a week The Department-based Respiratory Therapist
is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of
contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will
collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing
the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation
program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is
mandatory. This individual assists the Physician with the delivery
and direction of Respiratory Therapy. She/He may be qualified by
training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory
support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory
care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and
oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care
functions for which he or she is qualified. Providence caregivers

Coursework/Training: Education to meet certification, license, or
registration requirement. Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner
License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart
