Job Description:
Description This Medical Assistant position is a Monday-Friday
schedule with no evenings and weekends covering one of our many
clinic locations. It isimportant part of the care team who work
closely with our licensed practitioners to provide care for our
patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical
tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and
rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams.

positions are located at various clinics across North side, South
Hill, Valley, Downtown. We will discuss current open positions and
your preferences during the interview. The job utilizes a
combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills
Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on
clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like
pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other
information in patient’s medical records Performing some medical
procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined
posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant
Registered and Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are
listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each

Medical Assistant Required qualifications: Coursework/Training:
Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in
a clinical setting for medical assistants or Graduate of a
registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or Has
completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed
Forces or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical
assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining
vital signs, administering injections, and medication
administration. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant
Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic
setting (0-6 months) Preferred qualifications: 6 months - Prior
experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast
paced environment. 6 months - Previous experience in a healthcare
setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate
Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max:
$26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or
higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Registered:
Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Registration
within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of healthcare
experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience. Preferred
Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Medical Assistant, Medical
Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit
Coordinator/Clerk. Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range, NE
Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a
starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.

range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
