Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Clarkston, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,403 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU, Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active nursing license required Must-Have: - Experience in all areas of Med-Surg/PCU. - Knowledge of safe operation of equipment in the PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas. - Ability to implement infection control and isolation procedures. Description: 25-bed critical access hospital RN for MedSurg/PCU. Must be willing to flex in departments as needed. Identifies patient's and significant others' needs for patient education. Provides education utilizing appropriate modalities. Identifies and provides for patient safety through preventative measures. Follows restraint policy correctly and evaluates and documents appropriately. Demonstrates knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for essential equipment. Accesses equipment manuals as needed. Maintains complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses during assigned shifts. Documents charge accurately. Ensures accuracy and timely completion of physicians' orders. Completes 24-hour check of orders as required for the assigned shift. Gives change of shift report to oncoming employees in a clear and accurate manner. Communicates completely and accurately with other departments. Reports critical lab values to the physician in a timely manner according to policy. Maintains and restocks emergency carts, room, and general supplies. Performs other duties as assigned.
