Physical Therapist Location: Davenport, WA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,600 to $1,760 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/Hourly. Summary: A Physical Therapist plans and executes rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function after an accident or surgery. They will often also help to manage or lessen the pain experienced by someone stricken with a degenerative condition or terminal disease. Physical Therapists help patients through a combination of physical activity, reflexology, massage and muscular and skeletal manipulation. Responsibilities: Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from providers Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about Develop an individualized treatment plan Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition Use hands-on therapy such as massage, to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, providers and members of the patient care committee. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Requirements: Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program, Experience working directly with patients in a long term care or hospital setting, BLS Certification, Physical Therapy License.
