Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA.

Dietitian - Nutrition Services at Providence Sacred Heart Medical
Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA Under the direct
supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Registered
Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist(RDN) in
collaboration with other health care team members, plans and
provides medical nutrition therapy to patients. This includes
nutritional assessment, development of therapeutic plan, nutrition
education and monitoring of patients response to medical nutrition
therapy. The RD must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary
to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on

them. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or
nutrition-related field -OR- - Master's Degree in Nutrition or
nutrition-related field - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
Washington Dietitian Certification -OR- - Within 6 months (180
days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification - Upon hire:
National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic
Registration Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced Certification by
American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, American
Association of Diabetics Educators, or Academy of Nutrition and
Dietetics - Experience in Clinical Dietetics specifically with age
group to be served (neonate, infant, toddler, preschool, school-age
child, adolescent, early adult, middle adult, older adult) - Work
experience in acute care and/or outpatient settings, as applicable

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
