Description Medical Assistants are an important part of the care
team who work closely with our licensed practitioners to provide
care to our patients. This role is responsible for administrative
and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing
patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with

positions are located at various clinics located North, Valley, &
Downtown Spokane. (including: Orthopedics, & Sport medicine). We
will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the
interview. This position represents both full-time and part-time
openings. You will have the ability to discuss during an interview.
The job utilizes a combination of skills including: - Clerical
computer and phone skills - Customer service/people skills -
Medical terminology - Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills
include: - Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure -
Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient's
medical records - Performing some medical procedures, specimen
collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate
Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical
Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under
each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on
qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these
three positions, we encourage you to apply. Associate Medical
Assistant Required Qualifications: - Coursework/Training Graduate
of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a
clinical setting for medical assistants Or - Coursework/Training
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Or - Coursework/Training Has completed two years of medical
training in the United States Armed Forces Or - Coursework/Training
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that
includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs,
administering injections, and medication administration Or - Upon
hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification - Within 30 days
of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association -
Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
Preferred Qualifications: - 6 months Prior experience providing a
high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. - 6
months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an
Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate Medical Assistant Salary
Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can
expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on
experience. Medical Assistant Registered: Required Qualifications:
- Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant Registration
- Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association - 6 months Healthcare experience - 6 months Medical
Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications: -
Coursework/Training Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant,
Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk Medical
Assistant Registered, Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06,
