Our goal is to lead a top rated and effective short-term residential program for adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, maladaptive behaviors, attachment, and mental health. Our focus is on empowering teenagers and healing generations. Job Mission The Shift Supervisor is a core member of the Treatment Team and Residential Management Team. The mission of the Shift Supervisor is to ensure safety through adherence to all Policies and Procedures, and to support clients in all aspects of daily life, ensuring their needs are met. the Shift Supervisor is responsible for aligning with the Assistant Program Director and Program Director in establishing and maintaining a positive staff culture. This position will be expected to develop, supervise, and support their team of direct reports in the life coach role. Responsibilities: Culture/Employee: Acheive alignment with Program Director and Assistant Program Director on initiatives and goals for the Residential Program.
Integrate Embark at Flathead Valley culture, norms, and sustainable systems and processes for the long-haul.
Facilitates the team to find practical solutions to problems.
Servies as a contributing member of the treatment team on behalf of all direct reports.
Encourages our staff to provide consistency in care and saftey for our clients. Operations/Systems/Compliance: Complete and document 100% of safety drills as assinged by the Program Director and Assistant Program Director every quarter.
Manage mastery program implementation and supervision for all direct reports.
Manage and submit time clock reports for all direct reports.
Ensure documentation and charting is completed by team members daily.
Complete and document weekly campus safety-walkthroughs to ensure the campus is free of hazards and remains tidy for clients in our care.
Qualifications: Preferred Experience: College Degree or equivalent work history in psychology, sociology, health and human services, therapeutic recreation, public health services, or other related disciplines preferred, but not essential.
Experience working with and supervisiing others in a therapeutic, hospital, of direct care setting.
Experience and cofort in activity planning for teenagers in indoor-outdoor pursuits is a plus. Experience/Skills Required: Comfort and experience with email communications, Excel, and Word.
Experience supervising four or more direct reports.
Ability to communicate and build healthy relationships.
Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
Ability to set and teach positive values.
Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to plans accordingly.
Ability to pass a criminal investigation background check.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Obtain a current driver license.
21+ years or age or older.
