Wage:-- - Starting at $21.25-- -hour for day shift and $21.70 hour
for swing shift,-- -depending on experience
Shift:-- - Two shift options-- -available Day Shift:-- - 5:30 a.m.
to 4 p.m., Monday through ThursdaySwing Shift:-- - 11:30 a.m. to 10
p.m., Monday through Thursday

Responsibilities Operate control center to cut logs to optimum
lengths and remove all barkMaximize the value of each logSafely and
effectively learn machine centers in the sawmillMonitor flow of
material to and from the machine centers and adjust to ensure
production and quantity standards are metVisually inspection
equipment and support maintenanceControl two log decks, log dump
and log loaderOperate the cut-off saw and the defect cut-off
sawOperate conveyors to send logs through the debarkerOperate a
chain saw to cut crooked logs or limbs from logsUse bars and peavey
to move and straighten logsCoordinate via radio with Log Yard
Loader OperatorTrain and evaluate new operators and fill in for the
Head Rig Sawyer when neededMaintain a clean work area clear of
debris
Required High School Diploma or GED, preferredAbility to pass
pre-employment drug screenExperience in a sawmill or manufacturing
