Distribution is a leader in distributing building products for
residential, light commercial and home improvement applications
worldwide. We have an immediate opening for a Forklift and Building
Materials Operator at our Spokane Valley Distribution Center, and

and apply today! The starting wage is up to $21.00 per hour. This
is a day shift position, Monday - Friday, 11am - 7:30pm with the

advancement opportunities Key Functions: Safely operate and
maintain propane or gas forklift to move products from stock lines
to staging and/or cut stations. Safely load and unload products
from various trailers and rail cars Safely do your job to ensure
your personal safety and the safety of others. Courage to intervene
in any unsafe practice Accurately perform basic math skills such as
adding, subtracting, and multiplying. Accurately count units,
record totals and document shipping and receiving activities.
Develop in depth knowledge of building material products and
warehouse operations. Commit to quality, efficiency, and continuous
process improvement. This is not an inside warehouse position. This
role will perform manual labor 55- 65% of the time Additional
Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications High school diploma
or GED. A positive willing to learn attitude. Minimum of one year
of forklift experience. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move or
slide up to 100 pounds. Must be able work outside in the elements
five days a week and occasional Saturdays depending on business
needs. Wear all personal protective equipment as required. Ability
to work on a computer. Ability to work cohesively in a team
environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy. This
position is designated by WY as a safety-sensitive position. Please
be advised that due to the designation of this position as
safety-sensitive, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for
cannabis and its metabolites.
