160-Temporary Seasonal Positions: General Forestry Laborer;04/01/21-11/05/21 Norterra Services, Coeur d Alene, ID All applicants must be able, willing, qualified perform work described this job description & must be available entire period specified. Transport provided, designated locale to job site at no cost to worker; Begin Coeur d' Alene, Kootenai County, ID@ $15.76/hr. Continue States: ID-MT-WA-OR Possible wkly hrs: 35 (Plus) includes lunch break. OT not reqd; may be weekend/holiday work. Possible daily hrs: 7a-3:30p. OJT. No min. edu/exp. reqd. Duties may include: reforest, protect timber tracts, sow seed; lift seedlings from nursery beds, place shade materials beside seedlings, net or tube, mulch, post-plant hand scalp (removing excessive vegetation); apply repellent or fertilize seedlings; thin & other related General Forestry Laborer activities per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Perform physical activities: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 501bs. Attn. to detail; complete work tasks timely. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of physical strenuous labor long hrs, in extreme heat, cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hrs may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. Drug/alcohol/smoke-free , work zone. Employer comply applicable Federal, State, local laws pertain to OT, downtime, H-2B current regs. min 18-yrs age due to travel. Must show proof legal authority work in U.S.. Wage may vary: DOE, ID: $15.76/hr. OT$23.64/hr. MT: $15.57-16.28/hr. OT$23.36-24.42/hr .WA: $13.68-18.18/hr. OT$20.52-27.27/hr. OR: $17.10-18.90/hr. OT$25.65-28.35/hr. Transport/subsistence reimbursed (by first paycheck) cost place worker came to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place of employment per regs. Employer takes incremental deducts each paycheck (not to fall below fed min.) recoup transport costs pd in 1st workweek paycheck. Once worker completed 50% of employment period,transport costs (most efficient reasonable carrier cost), & subsistence costs reimbursed to worker. Upon completion work contract or where worker dismissed early, employer provides or pays worker's reasonable costs return transport/ subsistence back home or place worker originally departed to work, except where worker not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. Transport amount payment or reimbursement will be equal most economical/reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence provided rate $12.68 per day during travel to max of $55 per day w/ receipts. If legally enforceable, worker offered employment for total number work hrs equal to at least 3/4 (26.25/hrs.per wk) of workdays each 12-wk period. Work done w/employer provided tools, supplies/equip w/o charge/deposit. Single workweek standard compute wages due. Wage pd every 2-wks. All deducts reqd. by law done by employer. Employer offers assistance locating lodging, supply list public accommodation options in work vicinity. Optional lodging cost varies by location. Workers not reqd. stay such housing. Employer pays cost of lodging to extent reqd. by law. Will reimburse H-2B worker first workweek paycheck for visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, to extent reqd. by law, including fees mandated by U.S. govt. incurred by H-2B worker, not including passport or other fees not primarily for benefit of employer. Carpool contributions (optional) Company makes available company vehicle after hrs for reasonable personal use; contributions up to $35 per wk to help cover costs of personal use will be deducted based on mileage.
