We have a challenging part-time opportunity for a qualified
individual proficient in ESRI suite software, including ArcGIS Pro,
ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and associated mobile
applications, to work independently on a wide variety of
environmental and water resources projects.
If you are technically strong, comfortable with a fast pace,
enjoy working on a wide variety of projects, have a passion for
data visualization and communication, and have a client-service
perspective, you will thrive here. This is a part-time, as-needed,
hourly, non-benefited position. Hours may vary significantly
throughout the year.
What you'll do: You will work in the environmental industry on a
variety of projects and tasks, including environmental emergency
response planning, inputting/interpreting analytical laboratory
results, report preparation, and database management. The major job
focus of this opportunity is using GIS to enhance client
deliverables and creating mobile tools to support clients and field
staff. Work will include:
Figure generation using ESRI software GIS database management
(Enterprise/GDB/shapefile) Spatial analysis Report development
assistance Database analysis Creation of webmaps and configuration
of mobile apps for field data collection.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field At least one year of
professional experience with GIS Experience in map/figure
generation and data management, skilled with the ArcGIS
online/mobile collector app, Survey 123, and excellent
communication skills - both written and verbal - will contribute to
your success in this position as you will be working with large
groups on team efforts, as well as independently.
Experience with ArcGIS Indoors, programming languages (Python/SQL),
AutoCAD, and 3D data visualization software (EVS, Rockworks, or
similar) is preferred.
