We are now looking for an ASIC Chip Engineering Manager to join our team! NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. We are seeking an ASIC Chip Engineering Manager within the GPU ASIC team to help drive development of future SoC processors to be used inaccelerating 3D graphics, compute and artificial intelligence for gaming, datacenters, HPC and automotive markets. What youll be doing: - In this role you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of an SoC ASIC's development from concept phase to mass-production. Responsibilities will encompass diverse areas such as: architectural definition, silicon process and package selection, configuration of design IP's, performance modeling, power budgeting, RTL development and test implementation. - You will be developing, defining and tracking project milestones and dependencies, as well as coordinating the activities of IP design, software, emulation, integration, physical design and VLSI teams. - Work cross-functionally with packaging, system design, DFT, test engineering, test software and chip logistics teams to support silicon bring-up. - During the course a project you will be expected to identify and characterize key technical risks and then work with technical and management teams to identify mitigation strategies. - Provide technical leadership and career mentorship to the team. What we need to see: - The ideal candidate should have a BSEE (MSEE / MSCE preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of proven experience and 5+ years of leading either an SoC or a key sub-system. - You should also have detailed knowledge in the following areas: - SoC architectures including CPU, GPU and memory sub-systems. - Silicon process technology including yield analysis and cost modeling. - Front-end design flow including micro-architecture, unit partitioning and pipelining. - State-of-the-art design verification techniques, tools and methodologies. - Have excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills. - Accustomed to out-of-box thinking while formulating creative solutions to highly-complex technical problems.
