Description Credit Balances Resolution Specialist PSJH - Automation Credits Refunds at Revenue Cycle Business Services - Remote within our footprint states: AK, CA, MT, OR, TX and/or WA. The Credit Balance Specialist is responsible for effectively managing credit balance workloads and responds, resolves, and follows up on external and internal inquires in a timely manner. This positions maintains consistent productivity and quality of work in a challenging, fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Responsibilties:

  • Timely and accurately resolves credit balances.
  • Process internal and external refund requests.
  • Identify trends and escalate where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, clear, concise and complete account notes and other relevant information.
  • Closely adhere to set schedules and handle time standards. Promote PSJH as a premier service organization by treating customers with compassion and respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient demographic, medical, and financial information, ensuring proper handling and disposal of confidential documents and adherence to HIPAA.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements as well as PSJH policies and procedures in all aspects of job performance.
  • Respond to requests for information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Resolves unidentified payments through research.
  • Ensure all computer system entries are completed accurately and timely.
  • Completes annual mandatory education review and competency programs. Required qualifications:
    • 1 year experiece in Healthcare, revenue cycle or finance.
    • A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
