Essential Functions:Help to maintain safety and training documentation for employees and contractorsCoordinate and assist with new hire onboarding, monthly safety training and safety incident investigationsCollaborate with Regional Safety Manager to keep Supervisors and Site Leadership updated on status of employee trainingAssist with identification of health and safety hazards and implementing the proper control measuresHelp to update and audit Job Safety Analysis (JSA's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Lockout Procedures and ensure employees are properly trained on themAssist operations and maintenance departments with safety projects and improvementsUnderstand and support OSHA recordkeeping requirements and the maintenance of required recordkeeping forms (300, 300a and 301s)Participate and lead the site safety committeePartner closely with site leaders to create, maintain and improve the safety and training environmentPerform other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities:Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook requiredStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsMust be self-motivated, highly organized and a team playerExcellent follow-up and attention to details#ifg123Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
