What You'll do
Our engineers are the foundation of success for our customers and our business. We are seeking a Collaboration Systems Engineer to join our Spokane or Tri-Cities, WA team. This role will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver best-practice collaboration designs and implementations producing reliable, available, and scalable solutions.
  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and fault isolation of client issues.
  • Prepare project proposals including Bill of Materials, Engineering Professional Services Estimate, and Statements of Work.
  • Prepare and deliver post implementation documentation to clients.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients.
  • Serve as a hands-on post-sales engineer implementing and supporting collaboration projects.
  • Perform upgrades on customer equipment.
  • Anticipate IT industry trends and future directions, understand client business objectives, and incorporate this information into proposed solutions to fit future needs and initiatives.
  • Provide technical thought leadership while interacting closely with clients.
  • Maintain and increase technical certifications based upon certification requirement changes and business market requirements. Who you are

    • Thought leader in collaboration, staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
    • Willing to grow and learn in your role to support evolving customer needs and solutions.
    • SIP, H.323, Session Border Controllers, and legacy voice protocol configuration experience.
    • Prior experience designing, architecting, and administering routers, switches, LAN/WAN, QoS, VLAN's, bandwidth modeling and VoIP infrastructures.
    • Excellent documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and client-facing skills.
    • Ability to travel occasionally and work on client sites.
    • Experience in creating and defining new architectures and explaining complex issues/situations.
    • Experience in designing and building phone system call flows.
    • Ability to explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing voice and collaboration processes or solutions.
    • Maintain technical certifications.
    • Experience troubleshooting collaboration issues. Our ideal candidate will also have the following preferred knowledge and experience:
      • Experience with collaboration tools including Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) clusters, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Unity/Unity Connection Voicemail (CUC), Cisco IM & Presence (CIMP), and voice gateways.
      • Experience with E911 design and implementation.
      • Experience gathering customer requirements, white boarding/presenting solutions, developing a Bill of Materials (BOM) and preparing project Statements of Work (SOWs).
      • 5+ years of collaboration experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex issues.
      • CCIE / CCNP Voice/Collaboration, CCNP R&S, or equivalent experience.
      • Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field. Who we are

          • The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including location and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, training, certifications, education, or performance. This position is eligible for variable compensation, such as commission, bonuses, and profit sharing, in addition to the base salary.
