Basic Purpose and Scope:Sales analyst is responsible for the generation of statistical reports and analyzing the results to provide insight to the sales organization and executive management. This position will actively participate in planning meetings with key leaders as a subject matter sales data and analytical expert. To be successful in this position, you should be able to analyze data, identify sales opportunities and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market shareCore Values Culture Service:Responsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company core valuesAccountable for outstanding Customer service to all internal and external CustomersDevelop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communicationHelp uphold a "Team Member" environment supporting others with positive behaviorEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide analysis and interpretation of internal/external market data, highlighting any underlying trends to identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to increase the organization's profitability - 20%Research and anticipate analytical needs of sales including competitor analysis, strategy support and GAP analysis. Produces high level of insights with back up detail for recommendations - 15%Generate reports out of specialized system/software (Unify, TPM, Tableau, etc.) effectively to monitor market share, competitors and be able to forecast sales and performance goals - 15%Tracks new product launches, promotions and special products/initiatives and provides - 15%Creates and maintains weekly, monthly and annual reporting to include but not limited to Dashboard reports, costing reports, store listing, etc. and posts as required - 15%Contribute to the development of sales plans, presentations for department, executive meetings and JBP meetings - 10%Monitor and evaluate sales performance in order to assist in forecasting demand, revenue and expenses - 5%Manage broker contracts and other sales team support including Regulatory Requests, specification information, etc. - 5%Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing Ability to meet attendance requirements - Ongoing Other activities and duties as assigned - Ongoing Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:Education: BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fieldExcellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to take initiative while multitasking and prioritizing Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsStrong computer skillsMust have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently in the common languageAbility to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skillsTravel Requirements:Travel up to 10% of the time should be expectedTravel may be required with little prior warning and/or for extended periods of time.
