Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst position is a full-time
position in the Information Technology (IT) Department and will
report to the BI Manager. This person will be responsible for
strategic, consistent, and optimal utilization of Business
Applications. This role is responsible for coordinating business
application resources and collaborating with all departments and
sites including, operations, sales, accounting, and
management.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Maintain structural integrity of
databases and data warehousesManage upgrades, testing,
troubleshooting, standardization and process improvement of
business applications and integrationsWork with decision makers to
leverage and automate reporting to drive integration and to
eliminate isolated functionality, multiple instances of the same
data, redundant manual activities & lower costsUnderstanding of
production practices and work-flowsView and analyze organization
business needs; confers with users to evaluate requirements,
discuss solutions, and develop plan of approachPrepares program
documentation to support new or enhanced systems and
applications.Participates in structured walk-throughs to review
systems and provide training and supportMaintain governmental
compliance and participate in audits as neededConduct technical
evaluations on new products and provides recommendationsKeep up to
date on latest technologies and trendsProvide 24x7 on-call support
as requiredParticipates in the development of project proposals
with emphasis on cost/benefitsAssist IT team with improvements to
enhance functionality and service to usersPerform other duties as
assignedREQUIRED SKILLS:Skilled in organizing and expressing ideas
effectively in oral and written communicationExcellent problem
solving and time management skillsSelf-motivated and able to work
effectively in a team environmentExperience in data analytics,
reporting, and application integrationFollow through on short and
long-term projectsWorking knowledge of computer systems and
networksMust be capable of following strict policies and
proceduresHighly organized, analytical and action orientedCreates
and maintains technical documentation on server processes and
standards Required Experience:2 plus years of information
technology related experience or a combination of post-secondary
technical training such as: Database design providing technical
support for software, SQL reporting systems, etc.Preferred:Minimum
of five years' experience in information technology and database
managementCertification in CompTIA Server+Expertise with reporting
platforms such as SSRS and PowerBIBachelor's Degree in computer
related disciplineAs a condition of employment, Idaho Forest Group

Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions,
