Job Description:
A full-time Physician Assistant in Oklahoma City, specializing
in neurosurgery, supporting call, OR, and rounding activities.
Provides patient assessments, diagnoses, orders tests, treatments,
and educates patients. Assists with procedures, wound care, and
post-op management in neurosurgery. Supports ER triage, exams, and
patient disposition, and manages patient assessments in mental
health settings. Reports to supervising physicians, ensuring
compliance with safety and documentation standards. Requires an
accredited PA degree, Oklahoma licensure, current BLS, and
preferred experience in surgery or emergency care. Certifications
like ACLS/PALS may be required for acute environments. Must follow
safety protocols, with potential exposure to infectious materials.
