Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (09:00 - 21:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid license required Certifications: CST certification required Must-Have: Neuro experience Description: This position will float between units: No. On-call is required on weekends and nights on a rotation basis. Weekends may be required and could involve rotating to cover weekend shifts or being on call. Block schedules are not required. The expected patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. The work schedule is from 9 am to 9 pm. Special requirements include neuro experience. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Candidates must have a valid license in hand. Travelers must provide a minimum of two supervisory references covering a year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting. Travelers will complete modules, which are non-billable. Time spent on modules must be self-reported. Completion of modules is recorded in transcripts.
