Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Lab at Providence Health and
Services summary: The Laboratory Assistant supports medical
technologists by performing clinical laboratory tasks including
specimen collection and processing. This role requires phlebotomy
certification and experience with patients of all ages. The
position emphasizes patient care, professionalism, and adherence to
procedural standards in a hospital setting. Description Assists the
medical technologist in coordination and performance of clinical
laboratory work. Proficiently obtains blood samples from patients
of all ages while maintaining an attitude of courtesy and
professionalism. Processes and accessions specimens and associated

Qualifications: Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant
Phlebotomist Certification 1 year working experience in a clinical
laboratory environment, including phlebotomy experience with
adults, children, and infants. Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Technical coursework in clinical laboratory
science, phlebotomy, or medical assistance. Experience with
