Description American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology
Technologist with 2 years of EP-specific experience for a 13-week
assignment in a Level III trauma center Cath Lab setting in
Washington state. Details - Level III trauma center with 388 total
beds, 6 total Cath Lab rooms including 2 EP-specific rooms -
Adult-only patient population - EP cases include Electrophysiology
Studies (EPS), Catheter Ablations (PFA, Radiofrequency Ablations,
Cryoablations), Device and Laser Lead Extractions, Cardioversions,
Pacemaker/Defibrillator implants, Bi-V implants, and leadless
devices (Micra and Aveir) - Responsibilities include scrubbing,
monitoring, and circulating; tech will scrub and pan simultaneously
- EMR: Epic - 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM - No floating
required - Call consists of 2 nights of late-stay call per week (no
overnight call) and 1 weekend every 6th weekend (Saturday/Sunday,
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); 30-minute response time required for weekend
call - Weekend rotation is call only Requirements - Minimum 2 years
of EP-specific experience required - Current BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT-R, RCIS, or RCES certification required - WA state license
required if applicable - Proficiency in scrubbing, monitoring, and
circulating EP cases - Experience with implantable devices,
ablations, cardioversions, and lead extractions - Must be available
for late-stay call and weekend call rotation - One reference
required for consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or
above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) will be required
prior to start Additional Information - First-time travelers will
be considered for this position - Hospital-provided scrubs -
Charting in Epic; prior Epic experience beneficial American
